A note from the director

“I’ve been in the entertainment & music industry for over 15 years now. From studying music, performing at all sorts of events in numerous bands to running my own agency.

My goal is to find the right entertainment option or package for your wedding or event, I only work with the best professional musicians I have connected with over the years to ensure ultimate success across the board.

On top of organising live bands you may catch me performing in one of my Jazz bands at a function! I love how events bring people together and it’s a privilege to play a small part or be a part of it altogether!”

Working with Anthony was an absolute breeze. We were privileged enough to have House of Soul play for our wedding and they were beyond fantastic. Ricky, Carla and the band had everyone dancing, engaged and in awe of their talent. Not only are they talented but they are beautiful people. From the moment we got in contact with Anthony we knew we had made a great decision. He had everything under control and was liaising with the venue to ensure a perfect night. Anthony (the manager) was very accommodating, friendly and professional, and a very efficient communicator which made the booking process very stress-free which we were so grateful for during our wedding planning! The band were absolutely incredible - really gifted at what they do and they really understood the vibe we were going for - the set list they put together was perfect. OMG what a treat it was to have Downtime at a recent wedding I was photographing! Their music was the perfect addition to the reception :) The band members are incredibly talented! They were a hit with the guests and I loved capturing the joy and energy they were giving off. They were also super friendly and easy to work with, making my job as a photographer a breeze!
