Annette

Cello & DJ

Annette studied cello at the Conservatorium of Music, Melbourne and has travelled to Italy to study with violinist Davide Monti and cellist Gaetano Nasillo. Not long into her music career, Annette was playing to large audiences at festivals including Tamworth Country Music Festival, The National Folk Festival and Woodford Folk Festival to name a few.

Recently focussing on her own compositions and enjoys melding classical cello together with electronic music and contemporary sounds; creating a modern approach to a ‘classical’ instrument. Her cinematic works can be heard on digital platforms.

Annette also specialises in making special song arrangements which incorporate strings and DJ style electronic music for private and corporate events.

Annette regularly performs as a soloist and with a multitude of ensembles. Annette has performed for a variety of clients and events including Google, Melbourne Fashion Festival, Susan Sarandon, Dulux, NICA, The University of Melbourne, Crown Towers, parliamentary members, The Hub, Mai Captial, Movie launches, Shipping and Basketball Award nights. Annette also co-founded ‘Regional Chamber Ballet’ – a chamber and dance ensemble, focussing on bringing the arts to rural areas. Annette was recognised for her dedication to the community and was award ‘Young citizen of the Year’.
